Our Grass Fed Beef is raised on beautiful St. Joseph Island. The 100 acre farm has been in the family for 60 years. The farm was purchased from Diena’s parents in 1974. Laurence and Diena were married that year and over the next few years started a family with 2 children.

We also operate a renewable energy business, Northern Lights Energy Systems Ltd.on the farm and the operation has been totally off the grid since 1991 with the use of solar and wind technology.

It is our belief that we need to work with nature, not against it.

The farm was certified organic from 2004 to 2014 but due to the limited production of the farm, the cost of continuing with certification was prohibitive. However, we do still follow all organic practices and will

continue to provide Grass Fed Beef grown the natural way.
